M.O.P.I. CODE OF CONDUCT:
1. The safety and security of the M.O.P.I. Members, its guests, clients or
property owners will never be jeopardized while site researching, and/or
while conducting investigations. M.O.P.I. Members and its guests know
that the "PROOF" ghosts exist is secondary to the investigators safety
and well being. The living shall always come first. COMMON SENSE will
always be used.

2. All investigation and site researching is to be done with at the very
least TWO people.
M.O.P.I. Members and its guests will not bring more people than is
agreed upon by the Client. (i.e. If we say 5 people, then it shall be
5people)
M.O.P.I. Members and its guests shall seek permission with the
client/property owner to add more people to the investigating team. This
shall be handled by M.O.P.I.'s Public Relations Officer, or other Founding
Members.
M.O.P.I. Guests shall not make appointments with clients/property
owners at any time. This is to be handled within the M.O.P.I. Core Staff.

3. M.O.P.I. Members and guests will show professionalism at all times,
whether it pertains to conduct on our websites, forums, or other group
sites or forums. While on investigations, M.O.P.I. Members and guests
will conduct themselves to the highest level of professionalism. (i.e. No
running or horse play in cemeteries or historical sites)
We shall always observe the Highest Standards Of Ethics including
(but not limited to) appropriate dress, language, and behavior.
M.O.P.I. Members, guests, or client/property owner are not responsible
for accidents occurring to M.O.P.I. Members or guests before, during, or
after an investigation. The staff and M.O.P.I.'s clients are not the
responsible parties. You are your own keeper. We suggest that you take
precautions at all times to assure your own safety.

4. Respect will be at its most professional level to all people, whether
they are M.O.P.I. Members, members from affiliate/cooperative groups,
law enforcement officials, or clients/property owners. Respect shall be
giving to the non-living and to the property itself. The property shall be
left in the same manner to which we came to.

5. No substance abuse shall be permitted before, during, or after
researches or investigations. This includes, but is not limited to: 1)
consumption of alcoholic beverages, 2) narcotics use. Any persons found
not in compliance will be ask to leave the site, and not come back. (We
reserve the right to call the law enforcement on such activities.)
We have ZERO tolerance where this is concerned. And IF any
member/guest is suspected to be under the influence, they will promptly
be dismissed and asked to leave the site.
(If any member/guest is on a Prescription Drug dispensed by a Duly
Licensed Physician, and IF there is any question whatsoever about their
ability, or impaired judgment, they will not be allowed to participate in
the investigation at hand.)
Smoking is not permitted on site during the investigations, except as
designated by client/property owner.

6. M.O.P.I. Members, nor its guest, shall trespass on private property.
This includes abandoned houses and buildings. M.O.P.I. Members and
guests will always respect posted property, and will always seek
permission first and foremost.

7. M.O.P.I. Members and guests will not be permitted to remove anything
from an investigation/research site, such as souvenirs, pens,
paper/custom stationery, and the like. If any M.O.P.I. member/guest is
found to be stealing, law enforcement will be promptly informed.

8. M.O.P.I. Members and its guests will treat each and every
investigation as UNIQUE, and we will respect it as such. No haunting is
EVER to be considered "routine".

9. M.O.P.I. Members and its guest will not COMPETE with other
paranormal researchers, their organizations or affiliates. We DO welcome
their thoughts and insights, as pooled resources can often increase
research value and quality.

10. M.O.P.I. Members, guests, or affiliates will NOT  PARTICIPATE IN
ONGOING QUESTIONABLE SITUATIONS and/or internal disputes of other
groups.
NO M.O.P.I. Members or guests will INVOLVE THEMSELVES IN OTHER
GROUPS QUESTIONABLE SITUATIONS. Nor do we wish to hear about
these questionable situations and/or internal disputes. (so sort out
internal matters among yourselves)

11. No Form of "Rituals" shall be used on site, unless it is with the
WRITTEN permission of the client/property owner. One must know what
they are doing when engaging in rituals. If not, then it is up to the
client/property owner to contact another group with no standing
affiliation with M.O.P.I. Members or its guest.
No abuse of animals will be conducted, especially in conjunction with
any sort of ritual. The value of life takes priority and precidence above all
else.

12. M.O.P.I. Members and guests shall not be found in possession of
firearms of any kind, including paint ball guns, BB guns or toy guns on or
near the investigation/research site.

13. All M.O.P.I. Guests are asked to sign their names to the M.O.P.I. CODE
OF CONDUCT before any and all investigations. Copies will be furnished
to all M.O.P.I. Members, guests, clients/property owners.

14. M.O.P.I. Reserves the right to add to and/or modify the M.O.P.I. CODE
OF CONDUCT with or without prior notice.

15. NO M.O.P.I. Members and/or guests shall receive monetary
compensation from clients at any time. Donations for supplies,
equipment and/or fuel may be accepted, as long as it is understood that
such donations are on a strictly voluntary basis, and are in no way
solicited by M.O.P.I. Members and/or guests.

16. ALL PERSONAL PHOTOGRAPHS, EVP's/SOUND RECORDINGS,
and
FILMS WHICH ARE PRESENTED BY M.O.P.I. GROUP AND/OR ITS
MEMBERS FOR M.O.P.I.'s PUBLIC, ARE COPYRIGHT, and MAY NOT BE
USED by anyone else EXCEPT THE M.O.P.I. GROUP, ITS MEMBERS
AND/OR GUESTS, unless WRITTEN PERMISSION IS PROVIDED by the
M.O.P.I. Team leaders.

No one has all of the answers. By sharing knowledge with others, we
have the opportunity to advance ourselves in the Paranormal Field.

M.O.P.I. Thanks you for giving us time to be EDUCATED on the
